Java Microservice DEVELOPER
| Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient microservices using Java and related technologies. 2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, architects, and other developers, to define and implement microservices solutions. 3. Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and design patterns. 4. Ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of the microservices by conducting thorough testing and optimization. 5. Integrating microservices with other systems and third-party APIs to enable seamless data exchange. 6. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues in the microservices architecture to ensure high availability and performance. 7. Hands on experience in developing RESTFUL Microservices using spring boot, Web Services using REST, SOAP, JAX-RS ,JAX-WS, and WSDL Critical Skills to Possess: 5+ years of work experience with web applications. 1. Experience designing microservices using Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud. 2. Experience in both relational and NoSQL database – MySQL, Couchbase. 3. Experience with cloud architecture and technologies, including deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. 4. Experience writing unit test(jUnit) cases during application development. 5. Experience with Jenkins for build and deployment job and an understanding of CI/CD. 6. JVM tuning and performance optimization techniques. 7. Experience with Splunk or Dynatrace for log analysis and monitoring. 8. Proficient understanding of any code versioning tools (Git, Subversion, SourceTree). 9. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. 10. Familiarity with message queueing systems like RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka. 11. Understanding of security principles and best practices in web application development. |
