DATA Scientist
We are looking to hire a dynamic Data Scientist to join our global team. As a Data Scientist, you will be required to build a top-quality ML models and applications
Job responsibilities
- Data mining or extracting usable data from valuable data sources
- Using machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers
- Carrying out pre-processing of structured and unstructured data
- Analysing large amounts of information to find patterns and solutions
- Collaborating with other cross-functional teams to ensure high-accuracy ML models
- Developing prediction systems and machine learning algorithms
- Fine tuning pre-trained models with domain/client specific data
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD. degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
- Three to five years of relevant experience working as a Data Scientist
- Working knowledge of Python
- Good applied statistical skills
- Good knowledge of various NLP toolkits like Spacy, CoreNLP, OpenNLP, etc.
- Proficiency with Python libraries (Pandas, Numpy, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn etc.)
- Good knowledge of machine learning methods like KNN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Random Forests
- Experience with a deep learning framework (Tensorflow, Pytorch, etc.) and deep learning architectures (RNNs, CNNs, Transformers, etc.)
- Knowledge of large language models (LLM) and prompt engineering
- Overall knowledge of the Model Development Life Cycle
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools like matplotlib, ggplot, d3.js and KNIME
- Good written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English
Desired Skills
- Basic knowledge of SCRUM, Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of ML Ops and frameworks like Kubeflow / MLFlow
- Experience with cloud technologies will be a plus (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- High level understanding of frameworks like CUDA, OpenCL
- Basic Knowledge concepts of Responsible AI, Explainable AI
